Getting the best number is all you can ask for if you are going to bet the game before kickoff.

I am a big proponent of in game betting but I believe there are 5 early NFL Week 2 bets that will put you in good position to win some money this Sunday!

Seahawks Patriots under 45

Patriots offense

The Patriots are running a knock off verions of the Ravens offense.

Win by throwing an unconventional run offense at the defense.

However, Cam is a bruising back and not a home-run hitter like Lamar Jackson.

Patriots game plan

Bill Belichick will do his best to shorten the game much like he did in Week 1 and keep the ball away from MVP candidate Russell Wilson.

Seahawks mentality

The Seahawks also have a run first mentality… expect this game to go under the total of 45 easily.

Buccaneers -8.5 teased to -2.5

Bounce back Bucs

The Buccaneers killed themselves with penalties and turnovers on the road against a good Saints team.

Expect Tom to learn from his first game as a Buccaneer.

The Buccaneers defense is still a force, especially against the run.

Don’t buy the Panthers

The solid Bucs defense should mitigate Christian Mccaffrey and Tom Brady will piece apart an inexperienced Panther defense.

Give me the Bucs at home under a field goal.

Chiefs -8.5 teased to -2.5

Hail to the Chiefs

The Chiefs are essentially the same team that won the Superbowl.

More importantly, they still have star QB Patrick Mahomes, head coache Andy Reid and offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy.

Sell the Chargers

The Chargers struggled to move the ball against a lowly Bengals squad.

I have no faith in a Tyrod Taylor quarterbacked and Anthony Lynn coached team to hang around with one of the best teams in football.

Chiefs under a field goal should be a lock… I would not be surprised if the Chiefs covered every big number thrown their way this year as well.

Ravens -6.5 teased to -.5

The Raven machine

The Ravens are a juggernaut!

I don’t know if he Browns are that bad or if everyone will get steam rolled by the Chiefs and the Ravens.

Depleted Texans defense

The once feared Texans defense has either aged or left in free agency.

I don’t see the Ravens being stopped on offense. 6.5 points to cover worries me as Deshaun Watson can work magic but I don’t see the Ravens losing this game.

49ers -6.5 teased to -.5

Jets suck

The Jets are horrendous! Bad coaching. Limited offensive weapons. Injuries on a poor defense to begin with.

Don’t panic on the 49ers

The Cardinals may be a sneaky good team.

We will look back and say a close game with Arizona is nothing to be ashamed of.

I fully expect the defending NFC champions to win against a talent deprived and poorly coached Jets team.

Good luck!
